The SISSA School of Trieste activates the Cerco Alloggio service
SISSA in Trieste has activated Cerco Alloggio, the service that helps PhD students, researchers and professors from out of town find a home in the city.
The International School for Advanced Studies (SISSA) in Trieste has activated "Cerco Alloggio" (https://www.sissa.it/it/chi-siamo/strutture-servizi/housing), the guidance and support service for finding accommodation, created together with HOMA through the https://cercoalloggio.com/ platform.
With this activation, HOMA strengthens its network of institutional partnerships in support of the public bodies working on the right to study: in Trieste, the collaboration with SISSA brings a professional housing service directly inside an institution of higher education, supporting PhD students, researchers and professors from the moment they arrive in the city, or even before they arrive in Italy if they come from abroad.
The service is designed for PhD students, researchers and professors - Italian and international, duly enrolled at SISSA - who are away from home and looking for somewhere to live in Trieste. Browsing the listings is free and access is through registration on the site.
The platform is multilingual and accessible to people with disabilities. It lets you view photographs and virtual tours of the apartments, compare rents and obtain direct contact with the owners, along with all the useful information about the properties.
For those who want personalised support throughout the whole journey - from the search to the handling of the contract - a dedicated service (https://cercoalloggio.com/en/partners/sissa) is available.
Anyone who needs assistance can contact the Cerco Alloggio Advisor by phone or WhatsApp on +39 392 268 2122, by email, or through the service's Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/CercoAlloggioTrieste) and Instagram (https://www.instagram.com/cercoalloggio_official/) social channels.
Owners can join the initiative too: publishing a listing is completely free and includes an inspection of the apartment, a full photo shoot, the creation of a virtual tour, the addition of the property to the database of SISSA-certified homes, and access to a reserved area with downloadable contract templates, drawn up to protect owners and tenants alike.
With the activation of Cerco Alloggio, SISSA strengthens the services dedicated to its scientific community, offering a reliable point of reference for those who come to Trieste to study and to do research.
All the information about the service is available at https://cercoalloggio.com/en/partners/sissa
