Intervention and financing

HOMA Società Cooperativa per azioni, already active in student housing, was among the winners of the funding granted by MUR through the National Recovery and Resilience Plan resources dedicated to creating new student housing.

The structure

The project provides 12 furnished micro-apartments for a total of 30 beds in Lecce, dedicated to student rental inside a renovated historic building known as Residence De Franchis.

  • 12 furnished micro-apartments
  • 30 beds
  • Renovated historic building
  • Close to Porta Rudiae and the station

The story

The building dates back to the 17th century. Renovated in the 19th century by bourgeois families, in 1909 it became a private clinic and later an elementary school before being restored by R.I. Group in 2019.
