What the rent includes
All-inclusive: utilities, wifi and common-area cleaning. Meals, extra cleaning and parking excluded.
Requirements for the 40 places
Eighteen beds are reserved for right-to-study students: sixteen in double rooms are assigned through the Merlino Progetti call to applicants meeting income and merit requirements under Abruzzo's regional thresholds, and two in single rooms are assigned directly by A.D.S.U. Chieti through its own ranking. The remaining forty are open to anyone enrolled at a higher-education institution.

Requirements for the 18 DSU places
They are reserved for students meeting Abruzzo's regional merit and income thresholds. Sixteen, in double rooms, go through the Merlino Progetti call, which verifies the requirements. Two, in single rooms, are assigned directly by A.D.S.U. Chieti through its own ranking: for those, the application goes to A.D.S.U. and not to the operator. Subsidised rent, not free.
- First-years: enrolment (or 150 credits for two-year master's) by 10/08/2026
- Later years: rising credit thresholds from 25 to 245, by 10/08/2026; reduced thresholds for disability ≥ 66%
- Right-to-study ISEE not exceeding €24,335.11
- ISPE (property indicator) not exceeding €52,902.43

The residence
The story
Built between the late 19th and early 20th century, Palazzo Henrici is one of the most representative historic buildings in central Chieti. The historic residence of the family it is named after, it belongs to the Umbertine and eclectic architectural season: its monumental rusticated façade recalls celebrated Italian Renaissance architecture, with elegant neo-Gothic details. Restored and brought back to life, today it offers a unique home to those choosing Chieti for their studies.
Intervention and funding
Merlino Progetti, already active in property development and management focused on historic-building recovery, entrusts HOMA with the commercialisation and operational management of the Palazzo Henrici call, a student residence in the heart of Chieti funded under the NRRP (Ministerial Decree 481/2024).
